Oman's Embassies in Belgium, Turkey and Kazakhstan celebrate National Day

The Embassies of the Sultanate of Oman in the Kingdom of Belgium, the Republic of Türkiye and the Republic of Kazakhstan celebrated the Glorious 54th National Day with special receptions attended by officials, prominent figures from various sectors and Ambassadors of friendly nations.

Rua Issa Ashraf Alzadjali, Oman’s Ambassador to Belgium and Head of the Mission to the European Union, hosted a reception in Brussels. The event was attended by Belgian and European officials, as well as Ambassadors of Arab and friendly nations.

In her opening remarks, the Ambassador highlighted Oman’s comprehensive development under Vision 2040 and the historical ties between Oman and Belgium spanning 46 years. She emphasised the importance of dialogue and international cooperation, noting that the recent GCC EU Summit held in Brussels marked a new chapter in strengthening relations.

In Ankara, Saif Bin Rashid Bin Saif Aljahwari, Oman’s Ambassador to Türkiye, organised a reception for the occasion. The event was attended by Dr Mehmet Şimşek, Turkish Minister of Finance, alongside senior officials, Ambassadors of friendly and allied nations, business leaders, academics and media representatives.

Attendees congratulated Oman on its National Day and praised its progress and prosperity thanks to its wise leadership and an ambitious developmental vision.

In the Kazakh capital, Astana, Ambassador Mohammed bin Abdullah Albahrani hosted a reception attended by senior Kazakh officials, including Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alibek Kuantyrov, Members of Parliament, and Ambassadors.

In his remarks, Ambassador Albahrani spoke of the strong Omani-Kazakh relations founded on friendship and growing cooperation in various fields. He pointed to the advancement of trade, tourism and cultural ties between the two nations and reaffirmed Oman’s commitment to dialogue and peace to achieve regional and global security and stability.

These diplomatic celebrations reflected Oman’s values and developmental vision while showcasing the depth of bilateral relations with the host countries and the commitment to strengthening mutual cooperation to serve shared interests.
