
Oman's Bangkok Embassy monitoring earthquake situation in Myanmar
The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Bangkok is closely following the developments of the earthquake that struck the Republic of Myanmar on Friday afternoon, March 28, 2025. The earthquake caused significant ground tremors in several areas of the Kingdom of Thailand, including the capital, Bangkok.
The Embassy would like to reassure Omani citizens that no human casualties have been recorded as a result of this event, according to the relevant Thai authorities.
In this context, the Embassy calls on all Omani citizens in the Kingdom of Thailand to exercise caution, follow the instructions and directives issued by local authorities, and monitor official bulletins.
