Mohammed was on the team that successfully carried out the commissioning of the first and the largest solar power plant in Oman, Ibri II Solar Power Project, opened in 2021.
The Ibri II Solar Power Project is an international partnership which will be Oman’s biggest utility scale project and a major source of the country’s renewable energy. The project is expected to provide enough electricity for 33,000 homes and offset 340,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions a year.
