Mohamed is an architect with a passion for design. He studied in the UK, with a Master’s thesis on how Oman’s vernacular architecture can inform modern style. With 10 years’ experience at design offices in Oman, he joined the Royal Court Affairs in 2022 and works in the Central Design Office at the Royal Estates.
Here, he is the Lead Designer and Architect for the Muscat Commercial Development project, a new hub for visiting tourists and for the people of Old Muscat. The development is designed to be modern yet sensitive to the surrounding architecture and environment.
