Laila has worked at the Oman Botanic Garden (OBG) since 2009. Her primary responsibility is adopting the optimal methodology and latest technology for the propagation of native plants.
On the outskirts of Muscat, OBG celebrates the Oman’s plants, landscapes and cultural traditions. It includes carefully curated, naturalistic habitats to showcase the plant species whose homes range from dry deserts to rich monsoon forests.
Laila has participated in various training programs, including the Certificate in Practical Horticulture at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, UK.
