Ali Al Jabri
Visual Artist and Sculptor
During his upbringing in Sohar, Ali experimented with sculpting materials and techniques, settling on his signature marble forms in 2012.
His work won the Grand Prize at the Exhibition of the Omani Society for Fine Arts, and the Acquisition Award at the First Gulf Festival of Visual Arts in Riyadh, among others. He has participated in exhibitions worldwide, including in Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Jordan, China, Monaco, France, and Spain.
Ali’s style combines wood and marble to reflect humanity, life and relationships. He has worked on the concept of migration in sculpture and established international activities and events in Sohar aimed at enriching the fine art movement.
