
Omani Ministers and officials visit the Port of Amsterdam
As part of the state visit by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a number of Omani Ministers and officials visited the Port of Amsterdam.
The visit included discussions on areas of cooperation and investment opportunities between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of the Netherlands in green hydrogen, clean energy and logistics services.
Oman’s Minister of Energy and Minerals, Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, said that the purpose of the visit was to view the site designated to receive liquefied hydrogen from Oman in 2030.
He added that the visit featured presentations from all 11 participating companies from Oman, the Netherlands and Germany, noting that these companies reaffirmed their commitment to achieving shared goals.
Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority, said that the cooperation between Oman and the Netherlands is the result of mutual trust between the producing and importing parties. He noted that the efforts made have led to the signing of agreements between the two friendly countries.
