Oman welcomes Saudi Arabia's bid to hold 2034 World Cup

The Foreign Ministry has expressed the Sultanate of Oman’s welcome for the bid of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to host the 2034 World Cup.

A Foreign Ministry statement gave Oman's full support for Saudi Arabia's bid to host the tournament, which it said reflects the comprehensive renaissance that the Kingdom Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries have achieved, enabling them to host various international sporting events.
