Oman welcomes decision to create post of Vice President of the State of Palestine

The Foreign Ministry says that Oman welcomes the decision by the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation to establish the post of Vice President of the Executive Committee and Vice President of the State of Palestine. It praises the appointment of Hussein Al Sheikh to the post.

The Ministry offers Oman's sincere congratulations to him on his new role and wishes him success. It hopes that this move will strengthen Palestinian unity and serve the people’s legitimate aspirations, notably in securing all their rights and in establishing their independent state.
