Oman takes part in Indian Ocean Conference

Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Zaher Al Hinai, Ambassador-at-large with the Foreign Ministry, headed Oman’s delegation at the seventh Indian Ocean Conference (IOC) in Australia.

The IOC brings together the countries of the Ocean and relevant partners to exchange views on regional issues and find ways to work together to enhance security and prosperity.

The conference was attended by high-level delegations including foreign ministers from a number of Indian Ocean countries. Government officials and regional academic and intellectual institutions were also represented in Australia.
