Oman signs technical cooperation document with IAEA

The Sultanate of Oman and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) signed a technical cooperation framework document in Vienna for the period 2024-2029.

This cooperation framework is the third of its kind for Oman and covers programmes in the fields of radiation safety, agriculture and food safety, human health, water resources, the environment and cultural heritage. These areas reflect the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.

The document was signed on behalf of Oman by Yusuf bin Ahmed Aljabri, Oman's Permanent Representative to the IAEA, and by Hua Liu, Deputy Director General of the IAEA for Technical Cooperation.
