Oman sets out green hydrogen strategy
The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, took part in a hydrogen symposium in the Dutch city of Amsterdam.
In his speech, Engineer Salem bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, explained Oman's green hydrogen strategy and the important steps taken to build a competitive and sustainable hydrogen economy. He stressed the importance of strengthening international cooperation to develop trade corridors for hydrogen and its derivatives.
Oman's delegation to the symposium held multiple meetings, including meetings with the Port of Amsterdam and hydrogen transport and consumption companies. The aim was to enhance the partnership between Oman and the Netherlands in the energy and logistics sectors related to the transport of liquid hydrogen.
