Oman participates in meeting of Arab League Ministers

Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs, headed the Sultanate's delegation to a session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, at the headquarters of the League's General Secretariat in the Egyptian capital Cairo.

The ministerial session was chaired by Sameh Shoukry, Foreign Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, who emphasised the importance of solidarity and joint Arab cooperation.

The delegation accompanying Sheikh Khalifa included Abdullah Alrahbi, Oman's Ambassador to Egypt and its permanent representative to the League of Arab States; Minister Plenipotentiary Sheikh Faisal Almarhoon, Head of the Foreign Ministry's Department for the League of Arab States and a number of Foreign Ministry officials.
