Oman participates in donors' conference to support humanitarian situation in Yemen

The Sultanate of Oman took part in a donors' conference to support the humanitarian situation in Yemen, held at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva.

The conference is trying to raise US$4.3 billion to provide support and protection for 17.3 million people in Yemen, which remains among the world’s most severe humanitarian crises.

The Omani delegation was headed by Ambassador Idris bin Abdul Rahman Alkhanjari, Permanent Representative of the Sultanate  to the United Nations and international organisations in Geneva.
