Oman, Iran hold official talks

An official session of talks was held in Muscat today between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Sultanate’s side was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, the Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs. The Iranian side was headed by Dr Ali Bagheri, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs.

The two sides explored fields of cooperation between the two countries to enhance bilateral relations. The two sides also exchanged views on a range of regional and international matters of common interest.
