Oman expresses support for Egypt and rejects Israeli occupation government statements

The Foreign Ministry has expressed Oman’s solidarity with and support for the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt in rejecting and condemning the statements made by the Israeli occupation government regarding the Philadelphi Corridor in the Gaza Strip.

In an official statement, the Ministry warned of the provocative consequences of the statements which aim to undermine the mediation efforts led by Egypt, the State of Qatar, and the United States of America to reach a permanent ceasefire that would end the suffering of the brotherly Palestinian people and enable them to attain all their legitimate rights and establish an independent state.
