Oman denounces Israeli attack on Al Shifa hospital

Oman's Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces' attack on the Al Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City.

In an official statement, the Ministry denounced the ongoing assault and the inhumane Israeli actions against patients, staff and refugees at the complex, including their mistreatment.

The Ministry also criticised the bombing near the Jordanian Field Hospital, as a blatant violation of international law with a total disregard for humanitarian standards.

Oman's Foreign Ministry reiterated its call for the international community to urgently intervene.

It said that such intervention should address the worsening security, political and humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, ensure the protection of civilians and medical facilities and establish safe routes for delivering relief and humanitarian assistance.
