Oman congratulates Saudi Arabia on successful World Expo bid

The Sultanate of Oman has congratulated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on winning the bid to host the World Expo 2030 in Riyadh.

In a Foreign Ministry statement, Oman expressed its full confidence that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will organise this global event with the utmost competence and efficiency.

The success of the Saudi bid to host Expo is expected to bring benefits to the entire region and enhance the appeal of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries as hosts for major global forums and events.
