Oman condemns Israeli attacks on Jenin
The Sultanate of Oman has condemned the recurrent Israeli attacks on the city of Jenin and Palestinian camps in the West Bank.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry today, Oman voiced its firm position in backing the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to establish an independent state on the 1967 borders in accordance with the two-state solution, Security Council resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
The statement also said it was important for the international community to assume its responsibilities to realise a fair and comprehensive peace in accordance with international law.
