Oman condemns New Orleans ramming incident

The Foreign Ministry expresses the Sultanate of Oman's condemnation of the vehicle attack in the American city of New Orleans, which resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries.

In an official statement it sends Oman's sincere condolences to the Government of the United States of America and the families of the victims. It also sends its sincere wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.

The statement reiterates the Sultanate of Oman's firm position in rejecting all forms of violence and terrorism, regardless of their motives and causes.
