Oman condemns attacks on camps in Sudan

The Foreign Ministry expresses the Sultanate of Oman's condemnation of the attacks targeting Zamzam and Abu Shouk camps in the Darfur region of the brotherly Republic of Sudan, which resulted in the death of several innocent civilians, in a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.

Oman affirms its support for all international efforts aimed at ending the conflict in Sudan in a way that guarantees its people the right to live in safety, stability and peace.

The Sultanate renews its call for all parties to engage in dialogue to resolve disputes in order to safeguard the higher interests of the brotherly Sudanese people.
