Oman condemns attack on Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran
The Sultanate of Oman has expressed its condemnation of an attack that targeted the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
One person was reported killed and two injured in the attack by a lone gunman.
In a Foreign Ministry statement, the Sultanate stressed its firm position rejecting any action targeting diplomatic missions and destabilising security and stability.
Oman also sent condolences to the family of the victim and to the people and the Government of Azerbaijan, wishing a speedy recovery for those injured.
