Oman chairs US Gulf ministerial meeting
The Sultanate of Oman chaired in New York today a joint ministerial meeting between the Foreign Ministers of the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State.
The Gulf representation was headed by Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Oman's Foreign Minister, with the participation of Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The meeting discussed the Gulf-American partnership and cooperation in the political, economic and security fields.
There was also an exchange of views and consultation on various regional and international developments. The exchanges were based on a shared keenness to support efforts to reach peaceful solutions to various issues, in a way that contributes to the establishment of security and stability.
