Oman calls for restraint to spare the region from risk of war

The Foreign Ministry has stated that it is closely monitoring the military escalation in the region and the seriousness of its implications, stressing the importance of exercising restraint to spare the region and its peoples from the risks of war.

In an official statement, the Ministry affirmed Oman's call for adherence to international law as well as the UN Security Council's responsibility to maintain international peace and security.

It also reiterated the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and for the opening without obstacles of humanitarian and relief corridors to all parts of the Strip.
