Oman at meeting of Arab and Pacific Island Countries

The Sultanate of Oman participated in a meeting of the Ministers of Arab countries and Ministers of the Countries of the Pacific Islands.

The Sultanate's delegation to the second such ministerial meeting, held in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, was led by Abdullah bin Nasser Alrahbi, Oman's Ambassador to Egypt and its permanent representative to the League of Arab States.

The meeting discussed the development of cooperation with the Pacific Island Countries, especially in the economic and environmental fields.

This meeting is part of a continuing effort by the Arab League to strengthen relations and partnerships with regional and geographical groupings.
