Oman and UK review bilateral cooperation

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, today received Lord Ahmad, Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and the United Nations at the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

Sayyid Badr and Lord Tariq Ahmad reviewed aspects of bilateral cooperation and ways to boost such cooperation. They touched on joint business, investment and cultural programmes designed to serve the two countries’ mutual interests.

They also exchanged views on regional and international matters of common interest, stressing the importance of backing all peaceful efforts to consolidate stability in the region and the world at large.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Khalid Almuslahi, Head of the Minister’s Office and officials from both sides.
