Oman and Tajikistan hold political consultations
The Foreign Ministry of the Sultanate of Oman and the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Tajikistan held a political consultation session in Muscat today.
The talks, the second such session to be held, discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries. The two sides affirmed their keenness to continue developing relations in various political and economic fields, in line with the vision of the leaderships of the two countries.
They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common concern.
The Omani side was chaired by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs and the Tajik side by Husseynzoda Muzaffar Mahmurod, Tajikistan's Deputy Foreign Minister.
The session was also attended by Zubaydzoda Zubaydullo Najot, Tajikistan's non-resident Ambassador Designate to Oman; Ibrahim bin Ahmed Almuaini, Oman's non-resident Ambassador to Tajikistan; Ambassador Sheikh Hamad Alrawahi, head of the International Cooperation Department at Oman's Foreign Ministry and a number of officials from both sides.
