Oman and Sudan hold political consultations

The eighth session of the Political Consultation Committee between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Sudan was held at the Foreign Ministry in Muscat today.

The meeting discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields, ways to enhance such cooperation.The two sides also touched on issues of common interest.

The Omani side was chaired by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs. The Sudanese side was headed by Dafa Allah Al Haj Ali, Undersecretary of the Sudanese Foreign Ministry.

The meeting was also attended by Ali bin Sulaiman Aldarmaki, Oman's Ambassador to Sudan,  Salahuddin Al Kindu, Sudan's Ambassador to Oman and a number of officials from both sides.
