Oman and Singapore hold first strategic dialogue

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, met today with Vivian Balakrishnan, Foreign Minister Singapore, during his visit to the Republic for the inaugural strategic dialogue between the two friendly countries.

During the meeting, the Ministers touched on the good relations between the two countries and discussed aspects of cooperation in various economic, investment and cultural fields. The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

Major General Idris bin Abdul Rahman Al Kindi, Secretary General of the National Security Council of Oman, participated in the meeting. The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Khalid Almuslahi, Head of the Minister's Office and Counselor Anwar Ahmed Muqaibel, Consul General of the Sultanate of Oman in Singapore.
