Oman and Romania hold political talks

The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Romania held today a session of political talks in Muscat.

The Omani side was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs, while the Romanian side was headed by Traian Hristea, Secretary of State for Global Affairs and Diplomatic Strategies at the Romanian Foreign Ministry.

The two sides reviewed areas of bilateral cooperation in different fields. They also exchanged views on various regional and international matters of mutual interest.

The talks, the third such session to be held, were attended by Florin Marius Tacu , Ambassador of Romania to Oman; Yousuf Alzadjali, Head of the Oman Foreign Ministry's Eastern Europe Department as well as several officials from both sides.
