Oman and Nepal discuss strengthening relations

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Albusaidi held a meeting with Dr Arzu Rana Deuba, Foreign Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, during his official visit to Nepal.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance relations between the Sultanate and Nepal and explored opportunities for further cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of both countries.

The meeting also discussed regional and international developments of mutual interest, emphasising the importance of cooperation and coordination between the two countries to achieve common goals and support peace and development in the region and the world.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Issa Alshibani, Oman's Ambassador to India and Nepal; Ambassador Sheikh Abdulaziz Alhousni, Head of the Foreign Ministry's Asia and Pacific Department, and Omani and Nepalese officials.
