Oman and Finland hold political consultation session

The second round of political consultations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Finland took place today in the Finnish capital, Helsinki.

Oman's delegation was chaired by Ambassador Munther Almanthari, Head of the Foreign Ministry's Europe Department. The Finnish delegation was chaired by Sofie From Emmesberger, Director General of the Africa and Middle East Department at the Finnish Foreign Ministry.

During the session, they discussed relations between the two countries and prospects for their development. Views were also exchanged on a number of regional and international issues.

The Ambassador also met with Nina Vaskunlahti, Finnish Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for International Trade. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations.

Ambassador Almanthari also met Katja Ahlfors, Director of the Centre for Peace Mediation at the Finnish Foreign Ministry.
