Oman and Austria hold political consultations

The Foreign Ministry today held the first round of political consultations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Austria.

The two sides reviewed their bilateral relations and affirmed their keenness to develop them in various fields. They also exchanged views on regional and international matters of mutual interest.

The Omani side was led by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Diplomatic Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry, while the Austrian side was led by Gregor Koessler, Political Director of the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs.

The consultations were attended by Ambassador Christian Brunmayr, Austrian Ambassador to Oman and a number of officials from the foreign ministries of the two countries.
