Oman and Armenia hold political consultations

The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Armenia today held a session of talks at the Foreign Ministry in Muscat.

The Omani representation at this fourth round of consultations was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, while the Armenian representation was headed by Vahan Kostanyan, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister.

The consultations reviewed relations between the two friendly countries, with agreement on the keenness of Oman and Armenia to continue developing cooperation. A number of regional and international issues of common interest were also discussed.

The talks were attended by Hrachya Poladyan, Armenia's Ambassador to Oman, as well as both Omani and Armenian officials.
