Oman and Angola explore areas of joint action

Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, received Téte António, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Angola, during the Angolan President’s visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

The two Ministers explored areas of joint action and priorities for cooperation in the diplomatic, economic and cultural fields.

They also discussed ways to back initiatives to diversify partnership and investment opportunities, exchange expertise and facilitate movement and communication between officials, business owners and tourists.

On a political level, the Ministers agreed that both countries share the same vision and positions on regional and international issues of common interest and ways to address global challenges.

The meeting was attended from Oman bymAmbassador Saleh bin Mohammed Alsaqri, Head of the Africa Department and a number of Foreign Ministry officials. From Angola it was attended by Dr Frederico Cardoso, Angola's non resident Ambassador to Oman, and a number of Angolan officials.
