Foreign Minister in contact with GCC Foreign Ministers
Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi has been in contact today with the Foreign Ministers of the states of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
In their phone discussions, the Ministers agreed that the international community and parties supporting efforts to resume the peace process have a fundamental responsibility to intervene immediately to stop the ongoing escalation in Palestine.
They further agreed on the importance of opening humanitarian corridors for the population in Gaza and a return to the rules of international and humanitarian law.
The Sultanate of Oman holds the chair of the current session of the GCC.
