Oman participates in GCC Ministerial Council meeting

The Sultanate took part today in the 149th session of the GCC Ministerial Council, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Sultanate’s delegation was headed by Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister.

The meeting discussed various topics related to enhancing the work of the GCC and the means of promoting it to meet the aspirations of the peoples of the GCC countries.

The meeting also reviewed regional and international matters of interest. It also covered the progress of negotiations for free trade with friendly countries and international economic blocs.

The meeting also exchanged views on a further range of topics.
