His Majesty the Sultan receives Ambassadors' credentials
His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik received separately at the Al Alam Palace today the credentials of a number of ambassadors of the Arab and friendly countries accredited to the Sultanate.
His Majesty received credentials of the following ambassadors:
– Stella Kluth, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.
– Shaiful Anuar Mohammad, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, King of Malaysia, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.
– Veronique Aulagnon, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.
– William Murray, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Head of the Commonwealth, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.
– Khalid Mohammed Abdulhaleem, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.
– Qais Saad Al Amiri, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of President Dr. Barham Salih of the Republic of Iraq, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.
– Ligia Maria Scherer, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of President Jair Bolsonaro of the Federative Republic of Brazi, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.
– Amit Narang, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of President Ram Nath Kovind of the Republic of India, accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.
During side meetings with His Majesty the Sultan, the ambassadors conveyed greetings from the leaders of their countries along with their best wishes for good health, happiness and long life to His Majesty the Sultan. They also wished the Omani people continuous progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty.
They also expressed their great honour and utmost delight to present their credentials before His Majesty the Sultan. They affirmed to use their sincere efforts to promote relations of their countries with the Sultanate of Oman in various domains in a manner that serves the joint interests of the Omani people and their countries' peoples.
His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the ambassadors, expressing his thanks for their leaders' greetings and best wishes. His Majesty affirmed to them that they will receive all support from him, the Government and the Omani people in carrying out their duties.
The credentials' presentation ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court, the Foreign Minister, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, the Head of the Royal Protocols, and Military Aides to His Majesty the Sultan.
