Kenya: Embassy at meeting on Eastern Africa Standby Force
Oman's Embassy to Kenya took part today in a meeting of the Friends of the Eastern Africa Standby Force (FoEASF) under the slogan “Promoting Peace in Africa”.
The meeting, which was held in Nairobi and was headed by the Kenyan Minister of Defence, Aden Duale, was attended by security officials, ambassadors and military attaches.
The meeting was held with the aim of introducing the organisation’s tasks and achievements since its founding in 2014. It heard about the challenges it faces and discussed ways to support the capabilities needed to confront security challenges.
Oman's Embassy was represented by Second Secretary, Khaled bin Mohammed Alkhatri.
