Minister meets Syrian Foreign Minister

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met with Bassam Sabbagh , Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates at the Foreign Ministry of the Syrian Arabic Republic, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Sayyid Badr expressed his sincere congratulations to the Syrian Minister on his recent appointment, wishing him success in his duties.

Both Ministers affirmed the deep ties between the two brotherly countries and their commitment to strengthening the existing positive cooperation between Oman and Syria in various fields.

The meeting also included discussions on issues of common interest, with an emphasis on the need to intensify joint efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.

Oman's Foreign Minister reiterated the Sultanate's support for all efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability in Syria through dialogue and diplomatic solutions.
