Minister receives call from US Secretary of State

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received a phone call from Antony Blinken, the United States Secretary of State.

The call saw an exchange of views on regional developments, particularly relating to Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen.

The Minister and Secretary Blinken reaffirmed their commitment to achieving a just peace through a two state solution as the only path to sustainable security and stability in the region.

Sayyid Badr highlighted the importance of continuing diplomatic and political efforts to secure a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and alleviate the suffering of civilians.

On bilateral relations, the Minister and Secretary Blinken  praised the existing cooperation and discussed ways to strengthen it in the service of mutual interests and strategic objectives.

They also explored efforts to overcome challenges to promote regional security and stability.
