Minister meets Speaker of UAE Federal National Council

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received at the Foreign Ministry in Muscat, Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, during his official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

Sayyid Badr welcomed the guest and his accompanying delegation, emphasising the deep fraternal and historic ties between Oman and the UAE, which are based on close cooperation and joint coordination.

The meeting discussed ways to strengthen the partnership between the two countries, underlining the importance of exchanging legislative expertise and experiences to support integration and enhance bilateral cooperation.

There was also an exchange of views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Saqr Ghobash expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality, commending Oman's pioneering role in promoting peace at both the regional and international levels. He affirmed the UAE's commitment to continuing efforts to enhance comprehensive cooperation between the two brotherly countries in line with their shared aspirations.

The meeting was attended by various officials from both Oman and the UAE.
