Minister meets Spanish Foreign Minister

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a meeting with José Manuel Albares Bueno, the Spanish Foreign Minister, as part of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The Ministers reaffirmed their commitment to finalising a new set of agreements and memoranda of understanding between the two friendly countries to strengthen cooperation and partnership across various sectors to the benefit of their mutual interests.

They also discussed regional and international developments. Oman's Foreign Minister appreciated the Spanish government's supportive stance on the just Palestinian cause and its recognition of the State of Palestine.

Both Ministers emphasised the importance of advancing international efforts to achieve a comprehensive and just solution to the Palestinian issue in line with international legitimacy and the two-state solution.
