
Minister attends joint Gulf Morocco ministerial meeting
Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, participated in the seventh joint ministerial meeting between the Foreign Ministers of the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad of the Kingdom of Morocco,
The meeting was held in Makkah Al Mukarramah, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, chaired by Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait and Chairman of the current session of the Ministerial Council,
Also attending the meeting were the Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, Secretary General of the GCC.
The meeting discussed aspects of existing cooperation between the GCC countries and the Kingdom of Morocco in various political, economic, investment, security and cultural fields, with an emphasis on taking cooperation to new levels based on the existing strategic cooperation between the GCC and Morocco.
The meeting also discussed the latest regional and international developments of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashel Al Maskari, Head of the Ministry's Department for the GCC and Region; Salim Mohammed Albusaidi, Oman's Consul General in Jeddah, and a number of officials from the Foreign Ministry.
