Minister arrives in Riyadh for Extraordinary Joint Arab-Islamic Summit

Under the directive of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said, Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi arrived in Saudi Arabia to lead Oman's delegation at the Extraordinary Joint Arab-Islamic Summit.

Sayyid Badr was received at King Khalid International Airport by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh, along with other Saudi officials.

Sayyid Badr is accompanied by a delegation that includes His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki bin Mahmoud Al Said, Oman’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation; Abdullah bin Nasser bin Musalam Al Rahbi, Oman’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League; Sheikh Faisal bin Omar Al Marhoon, Head of the Foreign Ministry's Arab Department, along with other officials.

The summit will address the ongoing Israeli occupation forces' aggression against Palestine and Lebanon, its implications for the region and the actions to be taken in response.
