Mauritania: Embassy holds National Day reception
Saif Bin Hilal Almamari, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, held a reception on the occasion of the fifty-third National Day.
The ceremony was attended by Muhammad Salem Ould Marzouk, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad; Dah Ould Sidi Ould Oumar Taleb, Minister of Islamic Affairs and Indigenous Education and Mohamed Yahya Ould Said, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad in charge of Mauritanians Abroad, as well as Al-Hassan Mohamed Asl, adviser to the Prime Minister in charge of Energy and a large number of Ambassadors from the Mauritanian Foreign Ministry.
The ceremony was also attended by members of the diplomatic corps, heads of international bodies and organisations in Nouakchott, a number of representatives in Parliament, heads of political parties, thinkers, writers, journalists, poets and well-known national figures. Guests also included Mauritanian business executives and directors of international companies investing in Mauritania in the fields of minerals, gas and oil.
