His Majesty to visit Singapore and India
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will pay two state visits to the Republic of Singapore and the Republic of India starting from Wednesday.
A statement issued by the Diwan of Royal Court reads as follows:
“His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will pay two state visits to the Republic of Singapore and the Republic of India with effect from Wednesday 13th December 2023.
“The two visits reflect the advanced relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the two friendly countries. They come in response to invitations extended to His Majesty the Sultan.
“The two visits will discuss areas of cooperation between Oman and the two countries. They will also explore means of promoting these relations in various spheres to serve the joint interests and achieve further prosperity for the peoples of the three countries.
“During the two visits, His Majesty the Sultan will be accompanied by an official high-ranking delegation comprising: His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; His Highness Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; General Sultan Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority (OIA); Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; Engineer Salem bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals; Pankaj Khimji, Adviser for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Ambassador-at-Large at the Foreign Ministry.
“May the Almighty Allah protect His Majesty the Sultan in his journeys and guard him as a source of pride for people!”
