Oman and Netherlands hold political discussions
The 30th session of political consultations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of the Netherlands was held in The Hague.
The Omani delegation was led by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, while the Dutch delegation was headed by Christiaan Rebergen, Secretary General of the Dutch Foreign Ministry.
The session discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest and explored bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries. It also reviewed ways to enhance economic relations across various fields to serve the shared interests of both nations.
During his visit, Sheikh Khalifa met with Maarten Boef, Foreign Affairs Adviser to the Dutch Prime Minister. The meeting included an exchange of views on key events and issues of mutual interest, as well as discussions on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various areas to further develop relations between the two countries.
The meetings were attended by Sheikh Dr Abdullah bin Salem bin Hamad Alharthy, Oman's Ambassador to the Netherlands, along with Omani and Dutch officials.
