Kenya: Ambassador chairs UN Environment Assembly meeting

Nasra Salim Mohamed Alhashmi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Kenya, chaired the fourth consultative meeting for the seventh session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-7) on behalf of Dr Abdullah bin Ali Al Amri, Chairman of the Omani Environment Authority and President of the Seventh United Nations Environment Assembly.

The meeting was attended by the permanent representatives to the United Nations Environment Programme, stakeholders and major groups affiliated with the programme.

The sessions of the seventh United Nations Environment Assembly will be held in Nairobi from December 8 to December 12.
