Joint Omani Uzbek committee meets

An online meeting of the Omani-Uzbek Joint Committee was held today,

The meeting, the fourth session of the Omani Uzbek Joint Committee, reviewed relations of cooperation between the two friendly countries and areas of bilateral cooperation of common interest, including cooperation in the economic, trade and investment fields, as well as  cooperation in the fields of education and culture.

The Omani side was chaired by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs of Oman’s Foreign Ministry while the Uzbek side was chaired by His Excellency Shahrat Wafayov, Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade and Head of Uzbekistan’s Development and Reconstruction Fund.

Oman’s Ambassador to the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Uzbek Embassy in Muscat and a number of officials from both sides also participated in the meeting.
